Remote sessions
Booking & Payment Terms
Sessions & pricing
- Sessions are one-on-one and conducted remotely over Google Meet. After you book, you’ll receive a confirmation with the meeting link.
- The rate is $45 per hour, with a one-hour minimum. If a session runs longer — only by mutual agreement during the call — additional time is billed at $22.50 per 30 minutes.
- Payment is due in advance. Booking is completed through Calendly with payment collected via PayPal when you schedule. Your session isn’t confirmed until payment is received.
Before your session
To get the most out of your time, please:
- Join from a reliable internet connection, on the device you need help with.
- Have any needed passwords, accounts, or admin access ready — you’ll enter these yourself (see “Security” below).
- Back up important data beforehand. We’ll be careful, but you’re responsible for your own backups.
- Be ready at the scheduled start time. If you’re running late, we’ll do our best within your booked time, which can’t run into another client’s slot.
Rescheduling & cancellations
- You can reschedule or cancel free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice — use the link in your confirmation email.
- Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) and no-shows: your payment is kept as a credit toward a future session, valid for 90 days. We don’t provide cash refunds.
- No-show grace period: if we can’t reach you within the first 15 minutes of the start time, the session is treated as a no-show.
Credits & refunds
- All sales are final; we don’t issue cash refunds. Where a credit applies, it can be used toward any future session within 90 days of issue.
- If we ever need to cancel or reschedule, you’ll get first pick of a new time or a full credit — your choice.
Scope & extra time
- Sessions are hands-on help and guidance for the issue(s) you bring. If something needs more time than booked, we’ll tell you before continuing and only proceed with your okay; extra time is billed at the rate above.
- Some problems can’t be fully solved in a single session, or depend on third parties, hardware, or vendor support. We’ll always be honest about what’s realistic.
Security & your information
- We will never ask for your passwords or financial details, and we don’t store them. When something needs a password or sensitive information entered, you enter it yourself while we guide you.
- Please avoid displaying sensitive personal information on screen unless it’s necessary.
- Anything we see during a session stays confidential — we don’t share or reuse it.
No guarantee & limitation of liability
- We bring real IT and EdTech expertise and will always do our best, but we can’t guarantee that every issue will be resolved.
- Cadwell Tech isn’t responsible for data loss, hardware or software failure, or problems caused by third-party products or services. You’re responsible for backing up your data before any session. Our total liability for any session is limited to the amount paid for that session.
- Sessions are advisory and educational; you remain responsible for decisions you make about your own devices, accounts, and data.
